Architecturally it is pretty dull, a giant concrete structure which is not particularly enticing at first glance. See beautiful medieval towns like Colmar, Eguisheim, and Riquewihr, travel along the Alsace Wine Route at the foot of the Vosges Mountains, and admire beautiful Haut Koenigsbourg Castle.

It's not in the city centre, but is well signposted if travelling by car, and is easily reached on the tram.
