I don't know if my Commie's fuel economy improved all that noticeably, what with petrol prices oscillating so violently lately, but at times I am astounded at how far I can go on a tank-full of juice. While I was excited in the beginning to learn and feel the runflats, I was dissapointed overall.Not happy with levels of grip especially in the wet also they give a harsh ride. Firstly, at 2 years from new and 23K, that's not good. It's an asymmetrical pattern providing best combination of wet performance, dry performance and driving comfort Fuel consumption a little high too - not a low rolling resistance model.In summary, good all round low price tyre that could do a bit better in the lifespan and fuel economy categories.Don't know much about tyres - they seem pretty good though!Bought these for a great price through Tyroola and had them fitted by a local place. if was $511 including fitting balance and wheel alignment for the set. Grip is lower on the 120d, as well as less progressive and decidedly impossible in snow (as the Potenza review), and after just 13000 miles my rears are almost down to the wear markers. Also didn't last quite as long as my previous Michelin Energy XM2's - got 66000 kms instead of my usual 80000, but those tyres were significantly more expensive.

The tread now showing wear bar at 27,500 miles, this is about average for small run flat tires and could push it to 30,000 miles but leery about hydroplaning in wet conditions. I've since moved to the country and the tyres feel good on the small, bumpy highways and tight, curvy sections of hilly road, despite they're not being "low profile" sports tyres. Car came with some Achilles brand garbage, swapped out immediately for these. Good performance on fuel and nice and professional look. Got noisey as they hit 0.5mm off marker ribs on tyre.
